Clear etruscan origins, takes the latin name Vasculum. First knowledge go back to 1235, when already fortified, it was under jurisdiction of their own seigniory. Even though free commune, it kept itself under the influence of the family Baschi until the middle of the XVIth century when a succession of confiscations perpetrated damaging their own seigniorys and demolition of their castle, it enters definitively within the limits of Papal power. |
